Victory Over the Enemy I Daily Walk Devotion

November in America means Thanksgiving, Football, and shopping, not necessarily in that order. The day this devotion releases is Black Friday and many shoppers are making football players look like ‭‭weaklings. In college football, all the teams play their rivals, or in better terms, their enemies. As a fan, all you want is a victory over the enemy. As a Christian, we can have victory over the enemy as well

Revelation‬ ‭15:2‬

“I also saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had won the victory over the beast, its image, and the number of its name, were standing on the sea of glass with harps from God.”

Our New Devotional Will Make a great Christmas Gift

The final days of the Tribulation are going to be intense. The Anti-Christ (beast) will ramp up his attacks on those who follow Christ. Many will fall, but in the end, they will have victory over the enemy. The Apostle John sees a sea of glass mixed with fire and those who had victory standing on the sea. The sea is a symbol of the glory of God with the fire being a reminder of his judgment. Those who are standing on top of God’s glory have died in the tribulation but ultimately have victory.

Victory Over Temptation

You can have victory over the enemy in your life. You don’t have to endure the tribulation to get it. Victory over temptation and sin comes from living a life committed to Christ. You fill your heart with the Word of God, and you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Most important though is that when we do stumble into sin, we are quick to seek forgiveness.

Victory Over the Enemy

Satan isn’t going to sit around and watch once we decide to live for Christ. 1 Peter tells us that he prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Just like a lion, he doesn’t let his prey know he is around. He uses deception and stealthy attacks to take down his victims. We have to be vigilant and sensitive to the Spirit to avoid the attacks. As we learn to do this, we will start to have victory over the enemy.
