God’s Holy Spirit has been poured into your heart. Like an empty vessel that is filled to overflowing, that is what the Spirit is for our longing soul. Are you feeling empty today? Ask the Lord, and He will fill you with His Spirit. From that will spring forth this hope that will strengthen us.
Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
