Just as a shepherd guides his sheep Jesus will guide you. He is willing to forsake the ninety-nine sheep to go and seek for the one that is lost. His sheep know his voice and rely on him for their protection. Jesus wants to be your guide and lead you to greener pastures. He knows when you are hurting and will be there to wipe away your tears. Jesus will guide you.
Revelation 7:17
“For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; he will guide them to springs of the waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
A Source of Life
Jesus is on the throne and he is working for our good. Even in the tribulation, after the rapture of the church, He will still be in the middle of events shepherding those who turn to Him. He will be their guide and be a source of life in the midst of tribulation. Revelation shows us that the judgment God is bringing on the earth will be devastating but for those who are sealed with the seal of Christ will be protected. He loves us and wants nothing but the best for us.
Draw Close to Him
If Jesus is going to do that during the end times how much more is he going to do it for us now. Is Jesus on the throne of your life? Are you allowing him to work and are you following his lead? When things get tough do you draw closer to him? He wants to be the source of life for you, a fresh spring in a dry and dusty world. He wants to comfort you in your time of pain. Receive that today by repenting of your sin and asking him to come and live inside of you. Open the gate to the flood of his blessing. Trust Jesus will guide you.
