God’s provision for our needs happens in so many ways. For forty years the Israelites ate manna every morning. They would wake up, and it would be on the ground outside of camp. It was good for that day and that day only. When they got into the promised land, the manna stopped because they ate of the produce of the land. God provides in many ways
Joshua 5:12
“And the day after they ate from the produce of the land, the manna ceased. Since there was no more manna for the Israelites, they ate from the crops of the land of Canaan that year.”
Don’t Worry
In the Gospels, Jesus told us not to worry about our provision. Neither the birds of the air and the flowers of the field toiled for their food, but God supplied through his infinite resources. If he provides for them how much more will he provide for us who he loves more dearly? Don’t worry about the future. Focus on worshipping God and giving him glory in everything you do, and he will provide.
A Way of Working Out
Did you know that while the Israelites were in the wilderness, their clothes and sandals never wore out? They never had to replace any of those during their time in some of the harshest conditions. Walking all those miles from Egypt to Canaan would’ve worn out even the sturdiest shoes, but none of their did. Why do I share this? As we are walking daily with the Lord, he has a way of making everything work out.
He Will Show the Way
I want to encourage you to put your trust in the Lord for every area of your life. I know your bills may be piling up and bill collectors may be knocking on your door. Instead of stressing about it and trying to fix it under your power turn to Jesus. Repent of any sin that you have committed and then ask him to rectify your situation. Be faithful to him, and he will show you the way.
