Do you ever feel alone? That feeling like no one would have your back if you needed it? God says to you “I will hold you up.” He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Isaiah 41:10-12
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.”
God Will Be With You
One of Israel’s greatest fears is that God would desert them forever. God reassures them through Isaiah that he will be with them and will hold them up as they go through their trials. He will even exact revenge on those who have brought shame to Israel. They will become nonexistent.
Strength to Persevere
Have you been hurt by those who call themselves Christian’s? Have people slandered your reputation? Don’t give into bitterness and anger; God is with you. Be faithful every day by getting into His Word, praying, and going about your day loving those who He puts in your path. God is your protection, be resilient. All those incensed against you shall be ashamed, all those who strive with you shall perish. Ask the Lord help you to keep walking and working at what you are called to do. Ask for strength to persevere as those who are incensed speak evil. Teach us to forgive and love like you command us to. Don’t give into the temptation to shut completely down if you have been hurt. Jesus will be everything you need during this.
