It Can't Be Explained I Daily Walk Devotion

Science tries to explain the mysteries of the universe. They let us know why events we don’t understand happen like earthquakes happen. When something happens that can’t be explained, they simply say that it can’t be explained. When events are happening in our lives, we have a sovereign God who is in control.

‭‭Job‬ ‭11:7

Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than heaven—what can you do? Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?

It Can’t Be Trusted

Job had some of the worst friends in the world. When he was at his lowest, they came and told him that God was judging him and that he deserved everything he was getting. Who wouldn’t want friends like these? One of his friends told Job that God was too deep to understand, which is why Job couldn’t figure out why he was going through this trial.

Pointing the Blame

Everyone wants to point the blame for why things are happening. They will manufacture reasons to explain the reason behind the problems. It makes them feel better, but often they way off base. Make sure that you seek the Lord and search scripture before assessing blame. There may be no blame at all. It could be a trial intended to grow our faith.

It Can’t Be Explained

Job rejected all of his friend’s reasons and trusted in the Lord. Soon his trials were over, and God restored Job and gave him more than he had before. If you are going through a trial, stop trying to explain why it is happening and seek the source of strength to help you go through it. God will make Himself real on the other side. Just be faithful until that happens.
