Tapped into the Truth I Daily Walk Devotion

Having someone who can give you competent counsel is invaluable. To be able to get things off of your chest and hear the advice of someone more knowledgeable can be the difference between success and failure. Did you know that Jesus promised us a Counselor who is continually with us? The Holy Spirit is there to guide us in truth and wisdom. Have you tapped into the truth?

‭‭John‬ ‭14:16-17

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you.”

Counselor from Above

When Jesus was in his final moments with the disciples, He promised them He would send a Counselor that was exclusive to those who follow Him. The Holy Spirit would fill each believer and would perform many roles, one of which is the counseling us in truth. The world wouldn’t have Him and couldn’t procure Him either. This is one of the traits that separate the believer from the world. We have the Spirit of Truth inside of us. We can tap into that anytime we need it. He will guide you and is always there to consult.

Struggle with the Truth?

People struggle with the truth. To many, it handcuffs them from what they want to do, for others, it is outdated and archaic, but we have to look at it as a compass. The truth keeps us on the right path and going in the right direction. Just a few degrees off over a long period can end us up a long way from where we wanted to go. That is what happens when we stray from the truth.

Tapped Into the Truth

Are you tapped into the truth? Are you using the Holy Spirit as He is intended to be used? We need to pray directly to Him and ask for guidance. He is ever ready to lend us that truth straight from God’s Word. You know Him. He is that subtle voice in your head the tells you not to do something stupid. Follow His leading and see where He takes you.
