There are a lot of products that promise instant life transformation when you use it. I was in Africa last year, and I saw a sign where a Witch Doctor promised that if you went to his office, he would heal any disease, reconcile any marriage, and solve all of your financial problems. None of it was true, but it shows you that people will fall for almost anything. The gift that will change your life is Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
The Complete Package
The best gift you will ever be given is the gift of God. Since the fall of man, we have been separated Him. Jesus bridged that gap and reconciled us to God by way of the cross. In that gift package comes the grace to forgive you and the love that will continue with you the rest of your life. The catch is that you have to receive it as a gift. You cannot earn this gift through good works or even education. This only comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
Better Not Boast
We have nothing to boast about when it comes to our relationship with Jesus Christ. He gets 100% of the credit for any work in our life. When we draw attention to ourselves, we diminish Him. Paul made an effort to boast only of his weaknesses because that is where God was manifested the most. Instead, we should be full of gratitude and worship for all that Christ has done.

You would never try to give someone money when they give you a birthday gift. It’s a ridiculous thought, but most people struggle with the idea that Jesus would extend His salvation without it costing us anything. The gift that will change your life is often ignored because it seems too good to be true.
