It’s hard to sift through the noise to hear what is important. So many people are shouting their opinions and crying foul over how they have been offended and wronged. There is so much of it; we have become deaf to it all. Sadly, there is a group of people who have no voice which the world has run over. They have no way of standing up for themselves, and they need an advocate. God has called us to be a voice for the voiceless.
Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed.
This verse always grabs my heart. When I think of all the people all over the world who have no voice, it breaks my heart. From the womb to the elderly, there is injustice everywhere. Who is going to speak up for them? The Bible commands us to be a voice for the voiceless.
The church, since its inception, has stood up for those who have been dispossessed. We have been a group that accepts everyone and loves them as Jesus would. A Voice for the Voiceless
Who can you speak up for today? How can God use your voice to be a voice for the voiceless? Start to pray that God will show you. It may be your neighbor who is being wronged by a business. You might be called to something much more prominent when God gives you a stage to bring attention to a mistreated people group. Whatever it is be faithful and speak up. There are those who need justice desperate for you to be their voice.
