There is help for the troubled heart. So many people suffer from a troubled heart. A troubled heart is one that is full of worry, anxiety, doubt, and discouragement. Put Your Trust in Him
“Do not let your hearts be troubled.” Jesus starts John 14 with these words. Is your heart troubled today? Are you struggling to overcome the hurt and worry that is consuming your life? Listen to Jesus’ words and take them to heart. Believe in Jesus, and He will settle the restless heart. Put your trust in Him and watch Him take control. Cast all of your cares upon Him because he can handle them. Don’t be overwhelmed by what life is throwing at you, go to Jesus and be comforted.
A Promised Helper
How does Jesus comfort us? In vs. 6 He tells us that He is the way, the truth, and the life. Don’t be troubled. He is everything we need. The path to heaven comes thru Him. In vs. 16 Jesus promises a “helper” in the form of the Holy Spirit. Don’t be troubled because the Holy Spirit will guide you. Finally, Jesus wraps up the chapter by reminding us that he gives us peace. We can have peace in the midst of the trouble.Belief in Jesus leads to life, guidance, and peace.
