Remember as a kid laying on the grass and looking at the cloud formations. You would lay there and giggle as you guessed what each cloud resembled. I’ll bet that it has been a long time since you did that. As an adult, we have another reason to look to the clouds. One day Jesus will return in the clouds, and everyone will see him.
Revelation 1:7
“Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. So it is to be. Amen.”

Jesus is coming back soon. A brief look at end times prophecy will tell you that clearly. He is coming back for his church and when he does the nations of the earth be full of regret. While we don’t know the exact time, there are several clues in Scripture to see the sign of the times.
Twinkle of an Eye
In the twinkling of an eye and the blast of the trumpet will be heard and Jesus will appear in the clouds coming back to claim his bride. For those who have remained steadfast in their faith, there will be shouts of joy as their savior has come to reclaim them. For those who have rejected Jesus as the Son of God, there will be dread as everything they have rebelled against has come true.
Trouble Brewing
The seven-year period tribulation will begin, and the wrath of God will be poured out. This will be a time where God removes his grace from the earth. You would think that people would turn to God, but instead, they will shake their fist at God. When this time is over Jesus will come and rule on the earth for 1,000 years. Those who put their faith in him will return as well to reign with him.
Be Prepared
Don’t get caught with your head in the sand. Be prepared for the return of the Lord. Make sure your heart is ready and you are about your Heavenly Father’s business and keep looking to the clouds for Jesus to come back.
