God Sees the Righteous
David knew about communion with the Lord. It started as a young boy playing the harp while watching the sheep. He would sing songs to the Lord, and his heart was knit to the Creator of the World. As he grew, he learned to lean on the Lord when He was the only one David had. David knew that God saw the godly man no matter how the circumstances looked and set him apart. This should give all of us hope as we follow the Lord.
Trust in the Lord
In those times where you feel alone, and no one understands you, trust in the Lord. He sees you and knows the truth. People can spread lies and convince the masses, but all that matters is your righteousness before the Lord. Cry out to the Lord, and He will hear you. Seek His face, and you will find Him. Don’t let doubt and discouragement overcome you. Find your strength in Jesus.
The Lord Hears You When You Call
If you are feeling distant from God, do a self-assessment on your heart. Is there unrepentant sin? If so, then ask for forgiveness. Are you in fellowship with other believers, or have you isolated yourself? If that is the case, then reengage with the church. Are you sitting under strong Biblical teaching? If not, then you need to be listening to someone who teaches you the Bible. As you do these things, you will start to feel more connected to Jesus.
