It is so easy to go through life thinking that nobody notices you. You look around, and it appears you are forgotten, and nobody appreciates your contributions. Instead of throwing a pity party for yourself read over today’s scripture. You are not forgotten by God. He sees you and the love you demonstrate. Don’t give up. Keep serving the Lord.
Hebrews 6:10
“For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints — and by continuing to serve them.”
Justice Will Be Done
First of all, we need to remember that God is a just God. That means He is going to do the right thing, and at the right time, justice will be done. Give Him time to work things out. Don’t get outraged if it is not happening in the time you think it should. Patience is key to letting God work.
You Are Not Forgotten
You are not forgotten. God is able to keep his eye on you at all times. He is lovingly caring for you even when you don’t realize it. When you demonstrate love by serving the saints, He notices and remembers. When you stand before him in heaven He will recall all the times you helped without getting noticed, and He will reward you.
Continue to Serve
Continue to Serve. Don’t give up. God sees your heart and will reward you in ways that He knows are best. Find peace in pleasing the Lord as you serve him. You help unto the Lord not to get the applause of people. Be a loving person to everyone you come in contact with. Don’t expect anything in return and don’t let your feelings get hurt. Stand firm in your faith and watch as God does a mighty work through your life.
