By All Means Possible I Daily Walk Devotion

Attitude is an important aspect of our daily walk. If we harbor negative thoughts then we will never see God work. We need to have the mindset “by all means possible.” That starts with what we think God can do and it ends with having a heart for God to use us by all means possible. When it comes to reaching people for Christ we need to follow Paul’s lead of being all things to all people.

1 Corinthians 9:22

Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

Heart for the Lost

Do you have a heart for the lost? When you look at family or friends that aren’t going to heaven do you get sad? Paul was so moved by those who didn’t know Jesus he was willing to do almost anything to share the Gospel with them. He would be weak to relate to the weak just so they would be open to Jesus. If you don’t have a heart for the lost spend some time praying for God to cultivate in you.

All Things to All People

What are we willing to do to lead someone to Jesus? Are we willing to give up our freedoms, step out of our comfort zone, become a servant to those we are trying to share the Gospel? Most of all are we willing to look weak in doing so? We can’t expect the lost to come to us. We have to make room in our schedules, make the gesture, and invite people into a discussion about our loving savior. The challenge isn’t the other person but our hesitancy to look dumb in the process.

By All Means Possible

The Apostle Paul would do anything and go to any length to share the love of Jesus Christ. Most of the time Jesus is asking us just to cross the street and help our neighbor. Be open for God to use you. Take the step today to start sharing your faith with those around you. You don’t even need to go to a foreign land, maybe you just need to go a couple of feet out of your way.
